Well if the murder was committed from a personal standpoint (family member) then it would stand they benefit.

But alot of them get murdered by friends or just random people who know they have money on them.

To name two people, pop smoke died because he posted on social media he had large sums of cash and was at his home.
xxxtentacion died after being shot up outside a car dealership - I suppose the criminals assumed he had money on him to buy a vehicle with.

But yea, the people standing to gain anything would be people who have connections with the victim. Family members being the biggest, which is why in Detective Conan they are seen as primary suspects alot of the time.

Money drives crime after all. Music company doesn't gain jack probably.

This was one of the biggest "For corn sakes!" moments I've ever had watching Conan...

This was a touching episode, we got Detective Boys bonding moment (surprisingly).
But again, there are a few things I want to point out:
1. They couldn't bother giving characters occupations anymore, so Kinue is just a 31-year-old "beautiful woman" now lol
2. What were the doctors, nurses, and security guards doing when those two were trying to kill a kid???
3. Genta's firetruck became the unexpected Chekhov's Gun
4. Kaori (the wife)'s VA is Kashiwagi Shiho, known for voicing Saionji Sekai from School Days and numerous other characters in R-18 games and anime; Kinue's VA is Togashi Misuzu, known for voicing the protagonist from Mirai Nikki.
5. How did those two even get access to the roof? Wouldn't the door normally be locked for safety purposes (to prevent people from committing suicide, for example)?

I question anime logic from time to time, and still be puzzled plus amazed at the flow of events.

It was refreshing to see Conan the one being saved by the Detective Boys this time. Loving their friendship

This episode made me wonder how empty the kids will feel when Shinichi goes back to his original form, no more Conan to hang around with. Hell even Shinichi may miss spending time with them but it would be weird for them to play together again.

With that attitude, it doesn’t matter if they survived the accident, someone else will try again soon

What even did I just watch. Its not like a kid can stop some rich dude since nobody died. Her going to the hospital was a stupid idea and nurses still being in the room when she tried to finish them was by far the stupidest part of this episode.

Bro how are these people allowed to just run wild in a hospital.

If they did this shit running, screaming, and threatening a kid hospital security would've escorted them out immediately lol

However, kind of makes sense they might've had some form of blanket to catch people at a hospital.

It may be possible given that suicide is a possibility in hospitals. Though, I'm more inclined to believe that roof access wouldn't be available at all. It would also be strange to a blanket for that but you never know maybe they just keep them on hand.

Certainly the police wouldn't have them.
